Designing for Search Engines
There's no point having a great web site if no one ever finds it, so we put a lot of emphasis on search engines. The big problem is that some search engines don't index database-based sites because they can't push on those little "submit" buttons, and they choose not to follow links with a "?" in them (the technical term for this is query string). Building search-engine friendly pagesAs part of our service, we can develop a system that builds complete listing pages for the search engines, and a search engine home page. We'll write a batch process that generates a search engine version of the site and these are the pages that will be submitted to the engines. All of the links within such pages go to the "real" site.
