How Much Does It Cost?
Don't you hate it when you go to a web site's "prices" page, and you just get an evasive message that tells you nothing about prices but just wants you to fill in a form so that "one of our friendly sales representatives" can contact you? We don't like it either, and so we're happy to give you guideline figures to help you judge the likely cost of working with HomePage. We charge on very simple basis: we work out how many days of work your development will take and then base our price on this, adding in any fixed costs (technologies, licences, etc.) on the way. We charge different rates depending on the skills and experience of the people involved; these currently range from £500 to £750 a day. This then gives you a fixed price for the development, so you will know the exact budget that you'll need to assign. However, if there are unforeseen costs within the project specification then HomePage and the client mutually agree that we can exceed the price quoted by 20% (this very rarely happens). If major specification changes happen during the course of the development, then we'll It's almost impossible to give categorical costs for notional projects, but we can say that, typically, HomePage's costs range from a couple of thousand pounds for "static" sites involving no database or eCommerce work, through to If you already have a fixed budget in mind for your web project, then please let us know: we'll be able to give you a reliable guideline to how much we can build for that price, and will endeavour to get you the best value for money. Fees are payable 30% on commission, 40% on delivery of Phase 1 development, and then the final 30% on completion of the project.
